no. i dont think anyone wants to wear a mask any longer than they have to, unless of course you are crazy insecure about your face. i expect masks to be gone a year from now. once we reach herd immunity through vaccines, it will be no longer mandatory to wear masks. although some people will still probably continue to wear them for a few months.

For a while yes. Probably two more years wearing them.
@mslivy I have active covid antibodies. I’m part of that herd immunity. So me being in public protects you from getting the virus. There’s zero scientific or medical reason for me to wear a mask. If you wish me to wear a mask, you do so only to control me, not for the health and safety of me or anyone else.
there's more proof from legitimate sources about covid and its rate of infection, not deadly to younger people so if you want to wing it go for it just stay away from vulnerable people and the elderly if you're going to be irresponsible and not wear a mask

They've been a common thing in Asia for a long time I don't know how the west will react. I think most people will rejoice once they don't have to wear them anymore but some might keep wearing them.

Only until the pandemic nears an end, then people will quit wearing them. Probably wouldn't be a bad idea to wear them during flu season after this pandemic ends.

I always liked the idea of separating dumb people from normal ones somehow. People wearing masks in their profile pictures has been a good indicator so far, I hope it stays.
Haha I knew you'd say that. Isn't that ironic from someone hiding half of their face with a mask. Wearing a mask for no reason is dumb, that's why people wearing mask in a photo are dumb. It's not a fucking fashion trend.
Obviously by the background in her picture she is in public. It's mandatory to wear a mask when in public. She is following cdc guidelines.

@Wiredone She's asking are masks here to stay, indicating wearing them for no reason. And I'm talking about people in general who take pictures with a mask on even in their own bathroom.

Even as the vaccine is getting out, it is still important to distance an wear a mask. Hopefully, the vaccine will eventually mean you do not need to wear a mask. In the meantime, look at the bright side. You can sen nudes with your have covered. :-)
Short Answer: For now. Long Answer: For a certain amount of time we will have to wear masks. Even if the vaccine comes for the majority. Once vaccines gain control we may be able to have clarity as to being able to rid of the masks. It will be here to stay as a personal choice after there is control through this pandemic.

yup. cause we just believed that they actually do shit. fact is: the way we are wearing them, they actually increase our risk of getting all sorts of infections.
And don't wear one mask more than one time, wear only sterile masks. Other way you will destroy your lungs.

Not for me, I was born maskless and we will all be buried without mask. Mask aren't salvation they are the fear of death. I haven't been sick in over a year, because I focus on my actual health and immune system unlike those that blindly wear mask.
I think it depends on the country. For example the current situation in the UK is really really bad, but Australia is doing quite good at the moment. I don't think they still wear masks in Australia.

Possibly so. Even after covid I bet there could be a lasting paranoia and a mask is just another item of expected clothing.
People have been dying from viruses forever. Why would we pick and choose when to not wear masks? If we truly care about this, the masks will never go away.
