How are there less flu cases because of masks and social distancing but covid is worse because people are not wearing masks or social distancing?

You are dealing with different baselines.

Flu from last year with any measurements were, eg 100.000 cases.
With everyone follwing covid measurements the cases are down by 90% so there are only 10.000 cases.

Now when people stop following the guidelines and flu cases go up, the cases are still less than the years before, so maybe 33.000 or 50.000.

Abd with covid its the same, in summer, pre flu season, people were following the guidelines at 90% so we got really few cases, now people are sick of them and fewer people follow them, so maybe 66% of all people are following the guidelines, that means the cases for covid went up from 10.000 to 33.000 but this is still less than the 100.000 we had without any restrictions.

Covid is deadlier and spreads faster than the flu. Also covid cases would have been EVEN HIGHER if people didn't wera masks and social distance. Millions of lives have been saved because of those two things. Only sheep who believe everything they read on facebook don't wear masks. Anti-mask people are just brainwashed, and don't really think critically.

Yeah I don't get that either. Obviously the mask and social distancing isn't stopping covid. They are helping the flu stop. Which is great for that reason but not great covid wise.
