I bought a pair of used sneakers for my friend for her birthday. I wasn't to worried cause I knew I could clean them up fairly well. The issue is due to the material in the shoes when wet or wiped in an area or both it can mess it up. I accidentally wet a spot on the front of the shoes and when I tried to fix it mad it worse. It looked almost scuffed now and I wanted know if there was a way to fix this?

You get what you pay for. Cheap shoes can fall apart over time. I have had soles come off or heels on Walmart shoes as they are only glued on and they apparently use Elmer's Household Glue. Some made out of materials, like the one you picture, are hard to clean. They look good on a gym floor mat but if you walk anyplace with mud or water they will look like crap and won't clean up well at all. . Some of these shoes seem to made to be worn only in dry sunny weather.Cheap shoes! They aren't even good for kicking ass!

There is a lot of shoe restoration videos on YouTube, check them out, I am sure you'll find the right product there
