My hairdresser refused to dye my hair burgundy, why?

Any red color is harder to up keep. It fades very quickly. Her suggestion was good I think. Next time you could ask for a compromise. Maybe do a rich mahogany brown so you get some of those red tones you want and it won’t fade super fast.
She may have also made the suggestion based on your skin tone. Red colors can wash a person out or make them look sickly if they don’t have the right color base.
I will say though, if you would have said no, I want the color I showed you, she should have done it for you.

She didn't refuse she simply suggested a different color and since you didn't oppose to what she said she did what she suggested. Next time if you still want to have burgundy locks be firm with what you want even if she tells you it won't' suit you just say but I really want this color I've been dreaming about this color since forever and that's what I want. No need to be rude just be firm. However, if she tells you that to achieve that burgundy tone you need to go through a very harsh process like bleaching your hair trust her because she obviously doesn't want to put her job at risk and damage your hair.

When i go in to get a service i expect to get serviced. I am not there for their opinion. So if you like it that is fine. But in my opinion you are going to be wearing it not her. Plus your hair style color and clothing is your identity it is not theirs. If you want burgundy hair you get burgundy hair.

They are so judgmental!! I went to a hair stylist to dye my hair, she kept ignoring the question and acted like she didn't understand. I guess her niece was there and she asked her why she didn't want to dye my hair. She said in Spanish " look at her, she's ugly". So according to her, I am too ugly to get my hair dyed that's why she ignored me.

Because she has a moral obligation to not fuck up your hair.
