Girls, did you use a lot less lipstick during the pandemic since you had to wear a mask in public (or change any other makeup habits)?

Yes, I was reading a article while back saying how make-up industry (especially lipsticks) was falling behind yet the skincare industry is skyrocketing right now. Probably due to fact wearing masks so often is causing many people to get mask acne meaning people are going to extra lengths to take care of are skin. Plus we can no longer go anywhere so what is the point in getting glammed up.

Personally sometimes I forget and put on lipstick and then when I get to the shop I think what was the point. I still do wear makeup but only when I feel like it.

I didn't change anything makeup wise tbh. I've never gotten maskne. I barely wear makeup. Never wear lipstick. Never got into it. I wear more chapstick that's it. Wearing a mask didn't change anything. I wear a mask and then I'm not wearing a mask.

I never wore much to begin with. Only difference for me is I wear a face serum that helps prevent maskne

I still wear lipstick if I’m out or working.
My masks fit properly and do not restrict my mouth. Everything stays on.

I don't normally wear much makeup bc I never go out, even before the pandemic. But now I definitely cut back on the lipstick

I always wear a lipbalm with/without the pandemic. No lipstick tho.

Lipstick changed into lip balm. Lots of lip balm. Cause no one can see (but my shades of lipstick are pretty nude so)
