depends where you are going, type of social circles, fashion you are in to.

in 20’s you have a huge load of options, you can still pull off a number of looks.

I think these days even women in 40-50’s don’t dress what could be called mature.

It really depends on your style. I would avoid too much color. For work I would choose neutral colors and formal attire or business casual. For everyday I would choose anything casual and comfortable.
