hmmm good answer, i tend to think of it in terms of mere attraction as well
how could a woman friendzone someone she wants to date? that doesn't make any sense.
Ok so put it another way, can you purposely stop being attracted to someone, or is it something that only happens involuntarily?
No you cannot, an attraction will only fade over time. That's what makes it so hard when one feels for the other but the other doesn't.
Can you be attracted to someone but still friend zone them in your opinion?
Yea, I've done it. Only because I told them I wasn't good with relationships.
but do they put them in there on purpose or is it something that just happens?
I wish that girls understand that putting guys in the "friend zone" as a form of rejection is even worse than giving them a straight answer. You give the guy false hope that you will one day you will end up with him, especially if you give vague answers that keep him speculating.
@Toad-1 Some girls do it purposefully, some don't it really depends on the girl
Yeah, personally I don't friend zone at all, unless he insists we are "friends" @NervousToTheMax
"Some girls do it purposefully, some don't it really depends on the girl "You keep saying girls. is this something only girls do, or can guys friend zone too in your opinion?
I can't really speak from a male point of view as I don't really know anything about males friend-zoning...
well have you felt you have been friend zoned by a guy before?
I used to flirt with this guy not knowing he had just got out of a relationship (but he flirted back?) and he was like out of nowhere "You're really cute and amazing and all but, I'm not ready for a relationship.. can we be just friends.. who knows in the future?" Yeah now is the future we don't even speak anymore... I guess that counts?
When people refer to the 'friend zone' it usually means one person is attracted while the other isn't. But others just use it to refer to keeping things between one another on platonic friendship despite if either of them have feelings or not. it is a confusing term yeah lol
So in your opinion the people that friend zone people voluntarily tend to lead the other on?
yes.the other times people are doing it to themselves but giving false impressions that all they want is friendship early on.

You can still desire someone yet still want to be their friend though.
But can you friend zone guys you are attracted to?
not the question im asking
The question is irrelevant, it shouldn't matter. It still happened.
it's still not the question i asked
I don't care, I gave my answer.
