So I finally got the courage to talk to my ex boyfriend today and it went really well when I told him I needed to talk to him. He got kinda excited (you could kinda tell in his face), he told me that he thinks about me a lot and wanted to talk to me but couldn't. so we talked for a bit and wanted to know what was new with me since it's been a year since we talked,lol, and I want to know if maybe because I talked to him that he could be thinking that he has a chance with me again?

He also told me that he's always wondered if I was okay, and he said that he would check up on me to see if I was okay once in a while. he's older than me by two years btw.

i kinda do want him back...and I'm not sure if he still likes me or wants me so I didn't bring it up,im gonna write him a letter of how I feel and all the stuff I forgot to tell him when we talked in person.

A letter is definitely a good idea. I agree with the other person that commented. Since you were the one that ended the relationship, you have to be the one to initiate anything. Hope it works out for you :)

well I dumped him because I wasn't sure of my feelings, and I thought he didn't want to be with me cause he wanted a break but he only wanted a break cause his mom had cancer and he was going through a lot of crap. and he didn't talk to me because I avoided him, I made it look like I didn't want him near me when he came around cause I was mad and so was he. no we didn't talk about getting back together

Breaking with him for that reason sounds harsh. I bet he was hurt. I do think that he wants you back but is afraid that you will hurt him again. I would say that a letter is a great idea. Write exactly how you felt at that time, why you left him, etc,...or you can talk to him in person for sure. Be honest and hope for the best. Good luck :)
