He said he's been busy, does it mean he's not interested?

I accidentally rejected the guy I like. And I ran into him yesterday and I told him , "we haven't talked in so long" He said "I've been busy". We haven't talked in like 3 months. I tired once to reconnect but after that he never tired contacting me.

Is this his way of letting me know he's not interested anymore/should I just move on? It kind of hard to believe he's been busy for 3 months.

You probably hurt him big time when you rejected him 3 months ago. Seeing you and talking to you is probably pouring salt in his wounds. He doesn't know your intentions(he doesn't know you're still attracted to him). So it's possible that talking to you is painful to him.

I know when I talk or see my ex I am in physical pain still. I just want to forget her.

  I've made it obvious that I still want to be his friend, and he never reciprocates(contacting me), making me feel like he just doesn't want to be my friend anymore.

I think no guy would just be busy for 3months! there has to be some reason that he didn't talk to you in that 3months.. probably he got someone else

It totally depends on the guy. I don't know him so I can't really say. The only thing you can do really if you really want a chance is to force a conversation if he says he's busy and let him know the truth. If that doesn't work, then I can't help but feel that that's the end of you two.

As for me, I couldn't imagine or accept being just friends with someone I care for/cared for. I wouldn't accept it. A lot of the girls seem to feel otherwise though. It's really strange.

I really like him, he's the coolest guy I know, but I just happened to say the wrong thing at the wrong time and gave him the impression I wasn't into him. See when I try to flirt ... it just goes totally wrong. I think I gave him an invitation for our relationship to end and he took it, and hasn't tried to win me back since.

As long as you tell him the WHOLE truth. Don't screw up like you did last time and send the wrong message or say the wrong thing. Make it clear what you mean and what you want. I know girls like to think that their partners are psychic and expect them to know what they are thinking most of the times lol. If he's truly gotten over you and doesn't want you anymore, then that's really tragic. I'm sorry for that. But hopefully you can talk some sense into him.

I was thinking of hugging him the next time I see him. It'd be are first hug now that I think of it. Do you think this would be enough? or do you think from a guys perspective in his situation it'd be to weird/not what he wants

Is the hug the only thing you're going to do? I can't count the number of times a girl has shown interest in me but did it in a really obscure way(like hugging me or something) and I just thought that they were being friendly. Only after several years and looking back do I realize what they were truly doing and wanted. I know girls don't want to seem desperate or anything but you need to tell him directly what's going on before he loses even more interest. Men can be pretty dense sometimes

I was thinking of asking him to coffee as well. I don't want to scare him away by falt out telling him I like him. I honestly thing I would die right there in the coffee shop of embarrassment if he didn't say it back, and after everything I don't think he would. I just wish he knew... without me having to spell it out to him.

Doesn't need to be at a coffee shop or anything. I just asked my ex if she could meet me somewhere and that's how I said what I wanted to say. Anyways, if you find that hard maybe you can do something else. Write a letter explaining what went wrong and how you feel right now If he responds really positively to your minidate, then that's great. If ambiguous, give him the letter. If negative, give him the letter anyway. Can't hurt to try any more than it hurts to not try.

Heh. Sorry if I'm coming on strong. I just want good results for everyone and for people to be happy. Guess I can get a little overzealous in that sometimes. You don't have to do what I say word for word. Just make sure there is no misunderstanding like last time.
