It depends completely on the guy and on how good friends you are and allsorts of things. Personally, if a really good friend was being like that and I wasn't interested, I'd tell her straight that I was happier being friends. If it was someone who I didn't know, or who I didn't want to upset, I might go along with it on one occassion, but I'd be very careful not to lead her on at all and would probably be a bit awkward with her next time or something.

If I liked a friend, and she did this I personally would definitely go along with it and try to initiate the next step or something. If he's shy, he might not go for the next level. You can probably tell quite a bit from how he holds your hand and if he hugs you back and things. If he seems happy with it and holds your hand tight or whatever, he probably likes you. If he seems uncomfortable and tries to let go of your hand or doesn't seem at all excited he's probably not interested. But it could just be his shyness.

Normally, flirting is a reasonable way to see if someone likes you or not, but with him being really shy, I think you might just have to bite the bullet and ask him on a date. Make it clear that you mean it as a date. It's probably the only way you're going to get a definite answer.

Shy, introverted, outgoing, talkative - all that doesn't affect attractiveness of a girl in any way!

It's good genes which determine how good-looking and desirable is she, as well as they have an influence to what kind of person is she!

I would accept and wouldn't mind her advances only if I'd also be interested in her, and no if I'm not interested in her I wouldn't "play along" to prevent offending her, I don't follow such stupid social "norms", I'd be crystal-clear about my interests and what I feel(or don't feel) to her!

If it offends her I'm sorry for her but I don't feel any bad about it!

i think that after enough of the flirting ethier your going to move on or he's going to get tired of it..but the only reason you might not get a response from him is maybe he's so nervous he don't know how to react to your flirting but he probably likes it..

Personally, I would take take her hand off me, but not say anything while others are there. I hate being rejected in public so I have the decency to to it to others privately as well.

If I was fairly certain she was flirting and I had no interest whatsoever; I'd ask her to speak in private for a moment and tell her.
