If it's someone my own age it can be flattering, though it depends how they do it.

Cheesy lines are a no-no. As is anything sleazy. So it's a tough line to walk.

But something respectful and cute will always make me smile.

Though if you find a female attractive, pleaseee let her know, especially if she isn't the stereotypical gorgeous. Even if she tells you to shut up or if she turns you down, you might have just made her day.

But if she does turn you down - and she's clearly serious - respect her and walk away. There's nothing more annoying than a guy that won't take a hint. And my hints are as subtle as a sledgehammer!

Probably about weekly when I was single. Now I'm mainly with my boyfriend when I go out. It can be both fun and irritatating, depending on how the guy goes about it. Sometimes you can tell a guy is going to approach you because he keeps looking at you. I can usually tell if a guy is a) my type b) not my time or c) possibly my type or not my physical type, but possibly my personality type ...once we start talking. Attraction is immediate, but usually in relationships, I may not be very attracted to the guy who wants to date me. Gotta date guys you aren't drop dead lusting for, ya know?

I find that only creepy old men approach me, and old for me is basically 30 and above since I'm only 20...

But for the most part no one approaches me, maybe cause I seem unapproachable cause I'm shy and serious looking haha. If a cute guy my age approached me I'd find it cute, but if I wasn't attracted to him and I kept getting approached by people I wasn't attracted to, I'd be a little annoyed.

If a guy is a hero or zero is figured in the first 30 seconds to minute... There's guys who come across as genuine and friendly and the guys who give you the eyes/look like they want to take you in their pocket/have you which is creepy. Basically if I'm looking at you with wide eyes and a frozen expression keeping my distance then you're a zero and need to move away.

Attraction can be both immediate and over time. I usually see my crushes around a lot before I realize I'm noticing them cause I find them cute...

It really does depend on how it's done.

Normally I find chat up lines cheesy and annoying but if it's done appropriately & with some originality then it can be a compliment.

I don't usually know when I'm going to be approached but I can tell when someone likes me.

I get hit on weekly.

Usually in the the first conversation after he chatted me up so during a phone call I can tell if he's full of it unless he looks a mess and talks a bag of crap during his approach.

Attraction is rarely immediate for me.

Weekly, maybe. Depends on the situation, but I typically appreciate it. Sometimes I know he's going to approach me. How soon I decide whether or not I like the guy depends a lot on the situation.
