So as you know Christmas is coming around and I had planned to go out with my sister and do some shopping this weekend.Then 2days before Saturday I asked her were we still going and she says oh no my friend is coming over.It upsets me that I get pushed out the way for her friends and then she wonders why I don't like her friends.And when I do act out to get her attention she tells me I'm a dumb, stupid and just cry for no reason.I have told her why I hate her friends but she does not listen to me.My mother does not like to see us fight so she blocks me out no.What do I do?I just sit around with tears in my eyes

Now if you really wanted to spend quality time and she knew this - then okay, I can see why you'd be upset.

Oh okay - then yea you have a right to be pissed.

Don't act out though - that's a rather immature way to go about it. The best thing you can do is just pull her aside and have a heart to heart about it - and let her really know how much you want to spend time with her, and how much it would mean to you, how much she means to you as her sister.

Tell her it hurts you a lot when she blows you off for her friends.

I have did that told her how much I love her and all.Even told her why I don't like her friends.Her words to me is whatever you just want attention from mama like I'm always doing something to you.Then when her friends are doing something with her family is when she acts nice.

Oh wow - your sister's kind of a jerk. Maybe you guys just won't be able to have that relationship for a while :( I know it sucks, but sometimes siblings don't make a bond there. I'm sure she'll regret it in the future though.

Your sister is always there for you so.

She's being kind of stupid here. I wish I could make her hangout with you - but she's her own person, and for some reason has it justified that you just want attention from it.
