What is the point of women playing hard to get?

ohhh mind games eh.

i guess from a chicks standpoint, mindgames are somewhat exciting.

it is fun to see a guy try to come after you when they like you. it somewhat boosts up their ego.

ive played mindgames before. I guess its somewhat like a compliement when I guy likes you so much he's messaging you constantly etc.

it doesn't mean we don't like you. I've played mindgames with a guy before and then I've gone out with him. I've also played mindgames before, and I really had a crush on the guy.

dont think cause we are playing mindgames that we don't like you. if we didn't like you, we wouldn't talk to you!

I do it because I have a fear of coming on too strong or liking him more than he likes me. So while the guy thinks there's something wrong with him, I'm the one with the issue. We don't all do it to be a bitch.

I agree with trying to fend off the players. I only play the game to see if the guy is for real or just using me. But some girls think it's fun to send mixed signals.

These are ideas that I have (I don't know how accurate they are)...1) To fend off jerks and players, 2) to seem more confident or to test a guy's confidence, 3) to see how patient you will be with her.
