Would you rather someone approach you when you are dressed up or down?

I think I'd find it more flattering if they thought I was beautiful when I was at my "worst." Don't u? I don't understand why some people say you have to look made up all the time for the other person to be attracted to u...wouldn't you want them to know the "real you?" And then pleasantly surprise them further when you got dressed up?

I typically only approach girls when they're dressed down because I think that when girls are dressed up they adopt a different persona other than who they really are and have their guard up. I don't like dealing with them when they have that mentality.

Plus I like girls who dress for comfort and practicality more than ones who dress for style.

  When a girl is willing to put aside style and fashion for comfort and practicality it says positive things about her personality that I find much more attractive than if she were wearing a skirt and heels that showed off her legs.

I don't think "no makeup" is the real you.

When done right, makeup doesn't alter your appearance that drastically.

I actually prefer being approached when I'm dressed up because when I look good I feel more confident.

I know I'm attractive either way so I don't really care. I am not the type who walks out looking like crap..only time I do is when I go to the gym and I wouldn't want to be approached there because I'm all sweaty.

  I can understand the increased confidence when you're dressed up...but wouldn't the fact that the guy approached you without the makeup mean that he liked something about you (whether or not you felt confident)? You see? Like Dig said, I guess either way it is flattering...just think it would mean more if he found me attractive when I wasn't necessarily made up...but thanks! =)

psh, YES dressed down! ha ha Boost to the self-esteem a smidgen. :P I know I feel flattered when I'm at the gym, all sweaty, no make-up and my hairs a mess and a guy hits on me. Or when I just go to the store look like a scrub. Or at work when I don't give a sh*t... Lol damn I should stop wearing make-up. Natural is apparently better. BUUUUT I do still get dressed up and slap on a little make-up every now and again.

Worst, I'd probably walk away thinking "Damn I look good" just because I got approached while looking a mess. Huge confidence boost.

I don't care how I'm dressed, I'd just prefer someone approached me... Period. lol. If someone doesn't see me for who I am through whatever I'm wearing, then they aren't worth my time. Now if only someone would approach me :P

Dressed up and I'll explain why. I'll try and say this without sounding too conceited. I just feel like there's a difference in the quality of girls who approach you when you are dressed up and down. If I was dressed down then I would probably attract girls who didn't really make an effort with their appearance and didn't really look after themselves. Whereas if I was dressed up then maybe I could attract girls who did look after themselves and who did care about their appearance and made an effort to look good. I'm open to be approached when I am dressed both up an down but it's nice to know your effort is being noticed when you dress up.
