If you don't want it to lead to anything it's up to you to control how the conversation goes. :) If you like him and he is shy and is inviting you to his house that's actually good, because you will get to know him betther, if you don't want it to be awkard, have a plan in your mind, like watching a movie or playing video games, ask him if he has DVD's or Video Games if he doesn't bring your own. BETTER IF ITS A VIDEO GAME that way you will interact, talk about what's happening in the movie or game, choose a fun comedy movie and try to ask him what type of game he likes, so you will both play something you both enjoy.

If you don't want it to lead to anything then why say yes and try to lead him on? Just say you guys are ''just'' hanging out then if you do go through with this. You don't want it to lead to anything but you two like each other... This is confusing. You mean you don't want it to lead to kissing and making out?
