How long have you liked someone without telling them?

Four years. Yay me... haha

Started when I was 13, and lasted until a couple of years ago. I was crushing on the older brother of a girl that I played soccer with. Unfortunately, I was super crazy shy back then, and I had no experience with guys (actually, I still don't really have any experience, but I'm not terrified like I used to be, haha), so I did the "ignore him completely" thing. Then I would obsess over him, and whenever he looked at me, I would get insanely excited.

Then a year ago I sent him a message on Facebook. Just saying "hey, saw you walking the other day, looks like independent living agrees with you"

He sent a polite reply and I was ecstatic. Then I replied back, and I never heard anything from him again. However, at that point the crush was already fading, so I wasn't devastated or anything. A few months later he posted that he was "in a relationship" (his first). I was a little surprised, but after getting over the shock, I was honestly happy for him. And I've actually just seen a picture of him and his new girlfriend, and not to sound really petty, but I think I dodged a bullet... haha

Absolutely NO attraction there, and all the excuses I had been making regarding his slightly less than desirable personality flew right out the window now that I no longer found him cute, haha

Sorry that was a bit long... he was my second crush, but now I've got a new one who is much more worthy of my attention. ;-) And no way am I giving him up without a fight, haha

Well over a year I guess I liked this girl my junior year of high school and never told her I still kind of like her now and I graduated college.

When I was younger I always would have a crush and never tell them! So I guess you could say forever? Anyway, my current relationship, we apparently liked each other for a couple of months and neither of us had any clue until we both told each other!

3 months and its killing me, the only reasone why is that I don't know if helikes me and I don't know how to hint it?
