She's probably avoiding me because she feels awkward

She always flirted with me the whole time I knew her, even though she had a boyfriend. When her boyfriend dumped her, she flirted even more. Well, I tried getting her to go out (being casual about it, etc.), but it didn't work because she dodged it. Since then, she's been largely avoiding me, we've barely spoken, and now she's talking to other guys.

I feel kind of bad. Bad that she rejected me, bad that she's not talking to me (even though I know I won't get past it if she does talk to me), bad that she's talking to other guys now. I know I have no reason to. It just kind of surprises me. My friend who never picks up on this stuff thought for sure she liked me, too.

Not sure what to do. It's been a couple months now. Probably too late to do anything and better to just let her go.

She was just using you as a ego boost. Something to make her feel better while going through her break up. She's obviously found some one more interesting to talk to and they now have all of her attention. Maybe its a good thing her boyfriend broke up with her. If she was flirting with you while she was with her boyfriend...would you really want some one like that? That might be the because of the break up in the first place. She doesn't sound like a very good person to be honest.

Dude she was just out of a relationship, she most likely needed a friend than a boyfriend. You should have just played it low, till she figured you are the best option for. Anyways, what's happened has happened if you want her to come back to you then do what she is doing. Be flirtatious to other girls and don't go for a deep relationship. When she notices this, she figures it was a mistake to reject you. Also, since yo won't be in a deep relationship you would be available for her. But make sure she puts the effort into it. Make sure this time she really wants you. Do not play desperate, ignore her for a bit and ease her. Good luck bro!
