I also am a bit shy, but the issue is that I don't know how to approach girls or what girls like. I don't want to change who I am but more broadcast who I Am so girls who like guys like me would notice me.

What you need to do is be more bold and just be yourself. It sounds stupid, but trust me, if your just faking she'll see write through you and think your a jerk. Don't do all the talking, listen to her. Get into some sports to if you aren't already. Sports like football or basketball. You might also want to get into some girlie after school activities like choir or drama. If you do both a sport and a club then it will show girls your sensitive as well.

go straight up to a girl and just talk, easiest way to start a conversation is by complimenting the girl and then you can discover common interests and see if you find the sparks

have confidence

start talking and participating in discussions, work out, dress in style, get a job where you have to talk to lots of people, show your true self, do stuff like holding doors and complimenting girls

i agree with doctat I used to be that quiet guy and until I spoke up and did all these things

  I thought her answer was good. I don't know if I have good style but I like what I wear so I hope I can attract that kind of girl. I hold doors already. I think working out and being more in discussions s my key an d complimenting girls I get a little shy of that. But I thank you for your advice and we hall see what happens

Be funny and talk to them. Also just be nice and idols the door open for them and simple things like that. Girls really do pay attention to these things

Dude, if you have the mentality that your the sh*t. People will start to believe your the sh*t. Like I use to be super shy! and then I moved to NY and everything changed. My brothers use to give me crap and make fun of me and I use to get super butt-hurt about it, and then when I was in NY I learned that, its ALL ABOUT HOW YOU ACT. I started just "pretending" I was cool and before long I myself started believing I'm the sh*t. And hey.. I am.. I walk up to guys and say "hey your hot, I'm Tess" and it all goes great from there. First you have to fool yourself and then you'll begin to believe it. It takes time.
