Depends on how long she dated the other guy. That being said, usually about a month is normally a safe bet. You wanna lessen the chances of you being a rebound, plus make sure she's definitely done with the other guy. In the mean time though, keep in touch with her and stay friends with her, and try to be observant of her feeling and behavior to get a better sense of when the time is right. Remember that even though she's into you, you gotta be sure she's ready to move on.

Don't waste time, but be subtle about it. Go to her and see how she feels...try not to scare her off. Be honest but not brutal. know what I mean?
