I'm just curious. On one hand, I see people pronouncing it "cara-mel", then there are people who say "car-mel"

In UK it's caramel, although in some parts in more like caramul.
Any other way is just lazy. It's like I hear and see "Prolly" instead of "Probably". Got so lazy, they even spell it incorrectly!!
