I like my coffee so I drink the hottest, strongest, blackest espresso I can get. I don't degrade it with cream, sugar, or any other kind of frou-frou.
I like green tea, but I like to savour the changing flavour as the tea infuses. I pour the first 1/4 to 1/2 cup at somewhere between 30 and 60 seconds. I top it up a bit every few sips.
I don't do black tea as such, but pu-erh is good with a full 3 minute infusion as is oolong. Again no frou-from. If you like tea, drink tea. Ditto for coffee.0
