  • I don't know. Maybe they don't know the history of GMOs. Humans have been genetically modifying food for centuries. Sure the method is different, but the end goal is the same. Carrots were not naturally orange, Bananas used to have gigantic, inedible seeds, and corn is different than it used to be.

  • Probably because it's really profitable for big companies to sell you "organic" products, so they market to people's fear of science by acting like chemicals put together in a lab are inherently different by naturally occurring chemicals.
