Curry - How to Increase Flavour without the Burn?

How do I get the most flavour out of my curry while keeping the burning sensation down?

I know that it depends on the curry I use, but it seems that the more flavour, the greater the burn, and I am not the biggest fan of the burn. Yet, I still want a full taste of the spices I use.

  • Add a little more salt to intensify the flavour of the mix, and then maybe add more cumin.

  • Add some salt and more tumeric/cumin. I put some coconut milk in for a bit of body and sweetness but that's just me
