Goos protein foods/recipes for before strength training?

Im getting ready for track and have started weight training and have been recommended to eat something with protein before hand. Any ideas? I tried this oatmeal recipe but i had to make it the night before and by the time school ended it got kinda bad... so maybe something that won't go bad right away

  • Bircher muesli is a good overnight oats option. Super delicious.

    Or make some protein balls. There are heaaaaps of different types, so look em up and choose what you fancy.

  • Pasta and chicken are the go to. Assuming you dont leave it out all night. Of all else fails. A protein milkshake is heavy breakfast choice

  • Salmon and chicken are great for protein, beans combined with a grain for a complete protein as well. Protein shakes are a good go to so long as they’re not chock full of sugar.
