Small changing my diet makes me bloated?

I used to be a big-time soda drinker. It's probably been 2 weeks since I have been substituting tea for soda. I know a excess of soda can never end well for anybody, but over the past week I felt kind of bloated, I wasn't expecting any immediate health changes but I did not expect to feel like a balloon. Fortunately the feeling has gone down over the last day or so. Is this just the detoxifiers in the tea doing its work? I have at least two cups of tea a day.

I was just wondering if this is normal or if it's anything I should worry about?

  • I don't think that this has anything to do with the tea. You're definitely bloated for some other reason.

    By the way, I think that swapping soda for tea is a great health decision on your part.
