Boiled egg is undercooked and runny. What to do?

So I boiled an egg today and as I started peeling it I realize it's still runny. What can I do now? Its yolk is completely runny and the white is half cooked. Help please! I don't wanna throw the egg away, are there any ways to fix that?

  • The best way to make a hard cooked egg is to not boil it. In a pot put how ever many eggs you're going use and fill with cold water until the water covers the eggs by about one inch. Put the pot on the heat until water starts to boil, take off of heat, put the pot lid on and let sit for 12 minutes. Then put the eggs immediately into an ice bath to stop the cooking. You will then have perfect hard cooked eggs without that gross greenish coating on the yokes and no disgusting sulfur odor.
