  • Generally every second day, I alternate breakfasts and a scrambled egg on toast is one of them at the moment.
    Usually just butter then use my savoury stuff on top or to dip it in soup.
    My normal is soy and linseed but if I get up early enough on the weekend that the bakery has just taken out the white bread and it’s still hot I’m on that like white on rice 🤤💦

  • (Finnish) rye bread or multigrain toast, sometimes baguette. I usually put on margarine, cheese and cucumber. Sometimes chicken cold cuts, ham or tomatoes. I don't eat bread regularly, so most of what I eat is frozen, so it lasts longer and I pop them in the toaster before eating. Sometimes I eat four slices a day, some weeks I don't eat bread at all.

  • All types, especially my very own home baked varieties.

    I never eat supermarket bread. We have a very good bakery nearby that I get a couple of loaves from on a Monday, and then I top that up as needed, with my own creations later in the week.

    2) Sometimes I make sandwiches with sliced sausage, cheese and pickles.
    Other times I put smoked salmon and capers on it.
    Yet other times I make crostini (pour olive oil, pepper, salt and oregano on it and toast it in the oven).
    And sometimes I eat it as a side, in which case I just eat it like that.

    3) Mostly whole grain. That's the most popular bread here in Switzerland I'd say. If I don't eat whole grain, I usually eat other kinds of dark bread. I don't like white bread very much but I do love lye bread, which is also very popular in Switzerland, Germany and Austria. So, whenever I eat white bread, it's usually lye rolls.

  • I don't eat bread very often. When I do, I like whole wheat and multigrain breads. Usually, it is part of a sub that I order, so there is mustard and sometimes olive oil ob the bread. When I go out to a fine dinner, I often am served freshly baked bread with olive oil and herbs for dipping.
