That feeling when you bought a bag of spinach but got a pet frog instead.
On a more important note, how did that frog survive in a plastic bag in the first place?
I would keep the frog. Releasing it is not a good idea at all. Particularly if it is not native to your area. Not to mention, it can carry diseases or viruses that can be transmitted from frog to frog and can be very damaging to local amphibian populations. Besides, depending on the species of frog it is, releasing it into the wild, it might not be able to survive the winter or find proper food for it to thrive and survive. Keeping it would assure that you give it a long life, as well as being mindful and responsible about the balance of your local ecosystem.
