What do you eat after a workout?

  • I usually wait an hour or so before I eat for some reason. I find I need a bit of a cool-down period to work up an appetite. Also often work up a sweat so I often want to shower after, but I'm eager to drink some water soon after.

    • Maybe every now and then I'll take like a shake soon after workout. But usually don't have that much of an appetite right after.

    • I don't eat anything heavy right after workout either. Hot chocolate or something light. But I try to have something with protein.

  • I usually make a shake or smoothie of some sort depending on what I have in my fridge and freezer. It's so refreshing after a workout:)
