What would happen if I ate less meat?

I removed beef and pork in my everyday meals and vowed never to drink and smoke again. Though I still eat chicken and lamb from time to time, I mostly eat seafoods excluding shellfish (shrimp, scallop, etc.) and my intake of fruits and vegetables will be higher as well. I admit dietary laws from different religions has taught me a lesson about staying healthy thanks to them.
What would happen if I ate less meat?
