The Hell‽ How is this? Do you mind sharing the recipe?
@N192K001 the main thing is to make the dough taller rather than wider, use more brown sugar than white sugar, and using melted butter. Put the tall balls on greaseproof paper. Then make sure you dont over-cook, timing varies oven-to-oven. When cooling down cover them so the moisture stays in and keep them in a sealed box.
@ChocoBrownieMonster Oh, my gosh! THANK YOU！！！ I'm adding this to my cooking-notes. Thanks!!! I'd thumbs-up this post 1,000x if I could.
@N192K001 you're welcome 😁 whats your best cooking skill?
My strongest would be in cooking main-courses. Most of what I cook these days are more just combining whatever ingredients are available, instead of cooking some specific dish with a name. I guess, they're generally variations of established dishes. I'd say my variations of spaghetti & bibimbap gather the most compliments. And you?
@N192K001 i see, yeah it's fun mixing up things youve got rather than buying things as part of a recipe.I really enjoy making bolognese sauce but doing it the Jamie Oliver way with sun-dried tomatoes, puree, pesto, white wine vinegar, black olives, and meatballs, chestnut mushrooms. With spaghetti and red wine it was better than any restuarant dish I've tasted.
Bolognese? I've heard of it, but never tried cooking it. I guess I'll be trying something new, right after my next grocery-run! 😋 Béchamel has been by sauce of choice on the go, since it's simple but super effective (though I can't take it too often due the the high butter-content). But yes, healthier tomato-based sauces boiled 20min after sautéing with well-chosen seasoned-meats & spices is a must-have very well worth the wait. When I have time, I cook together turkey-bacon, sausage, meatballs, and/or ground-meats, as well as mushrooms and adjust spices to taste. Garlic-bread is also a simple, but great addition!

Interesting… I never had that type of cookie before. Have a brand in mind?
