There are slight differences in the formula and methodologies for packaging bulk products vs packaging single-serve packets (sachets). In some cases, this might result in taste differences in certain products. In other cases, there may be no discernible difference in taste, just in the texture, thickness, thinness, etc.
Two examples- which I have experienced- come to mind:
1. Little pouches of cookies. These cookies ARE really tiny, maybe 3/4"- 2 cm across, but the flavor is the same as the full size ones, in my opinion.
2. Tiny pouches of sweet pickle relish. The relish in them is very runny. The flavor often seems milder to me than the relish in bottles, as well. Packets vsglass jars.
I doubt that there is a difference but maybe there is something to it. Maybe the process of concentrating all of the ketchup goodness into a packet makes it more powerful
The miniature of most things is always of better quality in my opinion, including condiments, soaps, perfumes, skincare, beverages and health supplements. I guess the manufacturers put in more efforts to make the miniatures so that consumers would be persuaded to buy the full size. I voted "A".
