The only time that happens is in places where they card everybody. On my twenty-first birthday, my older sister took me out a liquor store- they carded her, and not me. I told her she could avoid that by growing a beard like I did; I don't think she appreciated it.
I get asked all the time, especially when I am clean shaven. My state is a 100% ID on alcohol, even if someone is elderly. While working at a gas station, an elderly woman forgot her ID. I could tell she was old enough so I let her get the alcohol anyways and it cost our store a $10,000 fine and me my job. However, even out of state, I still get carded.

They don’t ask at the local gas station I normally go to. But they still do everywhere else. No bigs, I always have it on me.
I haven't been age checked buying alcohol since I was 16. From the looks of things, the rules are enforced a lot more strictly now than when I was under age.

I don’t waste a penny on buying alcohol, but when entering adult facilities, I used to get asked for ID in my early 20s but not so much now (the last time was when I entered a bar in New York on holiday, but I’m told they’re more strict there than in my home country)
Not anymore when I was in my 20s yes once I lost my I'd and had moved 15 minutes from my old house and around my new house no one would sell me beer😔😔. I had to go all the way back just to get my fix☺️🤤🤤🤤 I suffer ed sooooo much😣

Surprisingly not, despite my baby face. I guess most people just realize I wouldn't be trying to buy alcohol if I wasn't allowed to or something.

Very rarely they check my ID. Usually I'm with my kids and they assume that I'm old lol
I do. Granted people tend to think I’m still a minor too

Almost never. In fact after I turned 21 I bought alcohol for about 6 months before I got ID'd and I was pissed that I could have been buying it before then.

When I was a minor they never checked… Now they will probably check me until I’m in my mid 50s...
I can confirm that this is true. Maybe I look younger than I actually am, but I definitely don't look under 21 so there should be no doubt. I just assume that those places tell their employees to check everyone's ID.
