For two reasons
1. I refuse to eat food from my killers on the day I am to die.
2. The original practice of a last meal was to bribe the person so that their spirit wouldn't haunt the executioner after their death. And I sure as hell wanna come back as a ghost! I want the next Conjuring movie to be about my angry spirit!
