Is it beneficial for a single woman to learn the tips and tricks of a mom?

I find myself curiously going to websites and blogs that are geared towards mothers and giving them lifestyle tools. Taking the advice makes me feel like I have my sh*t more together and generally makes me feel like a more well-rounded, organized woman with a great system of homemaking/keeping my home properly functioned. Do you think it's beneficial for us single women who want to be homeakers some day or simply value a practical, organized lifestyle to start cultivating these habits before we have children or get married? Why or why not?
