Girls, Understanding periods?

Question

I am a man trying to understand women more. I want women to answer this question and share with me how it feels like to be on your period, what happens? How long does it last? Do you like your period? Are you ever late? Does your period happen prematurely? Ever had your period and blood leaked all over the floor? Forgot to wear a tampon? What are the best tampons? Any and every comment is welcomed, let us discuss this natural phenomenon and I salute all your women for having to go through your period. Being a man, I can't experience these things like pregnancy, periods, PMS and all the related emotions like moodiness, emotional outbursts, being illogical and disoriented, being weak and unable to cope with reality, and taking aggression out on the opposite gender. Sometimes I wonder why would God make things so difficult for women? As a man respecting women, I seek these answers and hopefully all you women can connect together and share your stories, for instance, on your period, do you turn into this? and how can we take care women during this and what do you expect from us?

Well there is a few women who do enjoy their menstrual cycle and a lot don't and I happen to be one of them. Also, every woman is different and all menstrual cycles are different. My menstrual cycle is different then others. You need to comfort your woman and do things she can't do and to help her out around the house and to make her feel beautiful and loved. You also should surprise her with chocolate lol. We ALL love chocolate. The symptoms to periods is cramps, head aches, cravings, mood swings, bloating and etc. We are very emotional and our body goes through changes which makes us very uncomfortable.. BUT yes being on our menstrual cycle is very painful and some women do go heavier than others and not all women where tampons. I prefer pads over tampons.

I crave chocolate. I don't know why I just do. We all women have cravings for something and we just don't understand. My mood swings is being irritated, happy, and sad. I will cry my eyes out then crave for affection afterwards.

I honestly don't know. I have never heard that before. I am not the one to ask because my cycle is always heavy and beyond painful since I have endometriosis.

The intensity of a period varies from woman to woman. I have very light symptoms so I can only speak from my perspective.
What happens: couple days before my period starts, my lower back starts mildly cramping so I know it's coming. Then when it starts, my lower stomach hurts the first day and then it feels like nothing.
How long it lasts: 3-5 days. I don't keep track of it so I don't know if its early/late but I assume normal.
- I don't like it but I don't hate it. It's pretty neutral for me.
- has it leaked on the floor? This sounds more perverted than educational so I'll pass lol

And now the whole Internet knows about my period. I better get MHO lol

I heard you're supposed to avoid certain foods such as dairy to minimize the stomach pain but I haven't really noticed it for myself. I do get major cravings for comfort food though. If you're asking if food affects how heavy your period is, nah it doesn't.

1. Usually on my period I get pretty bad stomach cramps, tender breasts and I'm usually quite dizzy and weak during it. I don't think that my mood changes that much.

2. It usually lasts like 5 days.

3. No, I don't like it.

4. It's not unusual for my period to happen a week earlier than expected or a week later.

5. I've never gotten blood on the floor.

6. I don't wear tampons, but I've never forgotten to wear a pad. I've forgotten to carry one before and had my period come unexpectedly or when I wasn't prepared, but I've never forgotten to put a pad on when I knew I was bleeding.

7. Again, I don't wear tampons so I don't know the best brand. In terms of pads, I just get whatever's cheapest.

Meh, you can usually fold toilet paper up a bunch of times and use that as a make shift pad until you can get another one so it's not a huge deal.

Not every girl, it would depend on the person and if she's comfortable with it. Personally, I'm happy to have sex on my period, it helps the cramps.

I think that actually more girls use tampons than pads. Anyway, I prefer pads just because tampons are super uncomfortable for me, they're kinda painful and awkward and I don't like them.
