  • I'm not Japanese, but many of my portfolio pieces are heavily influenced by the Japanese anime style of art. I want to be a character artist for a game studio that uses such styles in their games, like Blizzard, Riot, Bandai Namco, Square Enix, Atlas, etc.

  • Yes, I draw and my style is heavily inspired by Japanese anime. They have a very unique style that I like so I incorporate it into my drawing. That's it.

  • Why would one have to be japanese to draw anime? Anime and manga have fans pretty much all around the world. My best friend is really good at it, I try form time to time but fail miserably xD

  • You don't have to be Japanese to draw in their style, just like they don't have to be Western to draw western style cartoons.

  • My graphics training doesn't lean in that direction, but I certainly appreciate it.
