@Sir_Laughsalot it's not suppression man, suppressing is trying to push thoughts out of your mind by refusing to look at them, what I am talking about is a far more subtle zen technique which is simply not reacting to thoughts with more thoughts. It doesn't mean I suppress my thoughts, I simply stop creating as many new ones as I otherwise would. This is effectively the same as taking a long walk in the woods, or a camping trip. You let the thought trains run themselves out and stop creating new ones so the mind can be at peace. Trust me, it's very healthy and I need to pick up the habit again as I am noticing the negative ramifications of not employing this technique, modern living being what it is.And I'm not your buddy, guy!
