Do you think the stereotypes placed on black women are unfair and does this distort your judgement when you see an attractive black woman?

Sadly most of the stereotypes are earned. I grew up in the ghettos of Memphis and close to Baltimore and in middle class areas. In both there were obnoxious black women and there were black women who were decent human beings. Unfortunately, no matter where I go, 90% of the black women I see are the obnoxious type. However, when I date a woman, race and stereotype do not factor in on my decision. I date women based on their hearts.

I do think the stereotypes are ridiculous and no, they don't have any bearing on how I respond to or approach an attractive black woman. I'm going to show her the same respect I show anyone else because she's literally just a person.

Cause I've got to say when I was in high school and even college a lot of the black girls lived up to the stereotypes.

Kind of yes and that is unfortunate, though I think the Karen memo being applied to any white woman who complains about anything is also offensive. I do my best to respect women.

I do my best to see individuals instead of stereotypes. The more personal an encounter becomes , the more effort should be expended in that effort. Of course it’s unfair when someone is too intellectually lazy to look past a stereotype!

Well I do find some black women to be a little over dramatic and intense, but they're also really smart and fun to talk to.
They can be crazy, but I always relate to them and have good conversation.
