How do I tell if she likes me or is just being nice to me?

Question

There's a girl in the new building I work at. She's really nice, and I like her. We've talked a few times about relationships, and how we are both single. But she's told me how she reminds me of her ex, I'm kinda plain and boring and don't do a lot of exciting things, and I'm too nice.
One time in our group, I was talking about how I was buying a house and I may need a roommate, and the girl said I need a girlfriend. Her manager asked what I'm looking for, and I described it and the girl said 'dont look at me'
Whenever I see her, she always says hi and we talk a bit sometimes. She will even walk over and say hi, but we usually talk about work. Sometimes we talk about what we are doing.
She will bring up if she hasn't seen me or if I get a haircut for example.
I'm just not sure. Does she like me or is she being nice?

Because I use to do the same thing especially about the haircut lol I use to drool over that haircut

That's a fair point. There's a girl at my work who likes me and she's usually the only person who notices when I get a haircut.

Oh yes I paid attention to his hair because of how sexy it looked on him. He would get that haircut every Monday and I would definitely complain about not seeing him lol that’s before anxiety hit me. She is more than likely wanting to talk about work out of fear of rejection

I think I've been doing some. I worry I go too far.
Like, she was leaving and I asked if she's really leaving without me and she said I could come with, and I joked that she should come with me cause I'm gonna be making steaks.

But we've also talked about dating stuff, and how her relationship was, and she said I seem too conservative. Like I wouldn't smack a girls ass when I hold the door open.

I'm not sure what to do without coming on too strong or coming off the wrong way. You know? Strange time to date

She got out of a relationship after 5 years and she said they kinda settled on each other, and they mutually ended things and she's just being single for now and seeing what's on tinder, but she says most guys stop talking to her because she's not interesting.
