Is it creepy to start a convo w a girl at the gym no matter how much they’re trying to get your attention?

Question

Like my #1 rule going to the gym is to never pick up girls there. I respect their space and don’t want to bother them, same goes w guys cause I’d be annoyed too. But there’s this one girl and I swear she’s trying ode to get my attention but like I feel that any convo started at the gym just seems creepy. I was considering talking to her at the end of the workout but I didn’t see her when I left.

What she does is she occasionally walks by me extremely close when there’s an open space, she literally uses a cable machine right next to me and proceeds to do the same workout as I was doing (could be a coincidence), looks at me a lot, and other things. All of this could be in my head, but again no one had ever done this except this girl

Don't bother. Girls like that are often trouble. If she really wanted to get to know you and talk to you all she has to do is just come up to you and introduced herself. Because God forbid if you even try to do anything you may even say that she wasn't trying to do it when she was. Mature people don't do that. It will come off as creepy anyway not so much because you are gone, but simply because she can easily make it that way.

A gym is no place for any of that. And nobody should be trying to pick up anybody. If you have a natural inclination to get to know a person, there's nothing wrong with doing it and making fronts. But to me it sounds like to me she trying to find somebody she can hook up with.

Yea I was thinking that if I was wrong it could be extremely awkward and make me look like a creep. So I figured if she really wants to talk to me I’ll just let her come up and say something and mind my own business

Also, usually those type of women are just fishing for attention anyway. Is not about liking you all getting to know you.

Keep your distance , and stick with the #1 rule. The vast majority of women at gyms hate it if a male even glances at them , only go there for it's intended purpose.
