I have a hard time believing a young girl in her twenties would want to be with a guy in his thirties.

I feel sorry for those girls. I am sure there might be the one odd case in a hundred where it's genuine and the girl really does love the guy but for the most part I am not convinced that's the case in most situations.

My boyfriend is 29, I'm 21. I do prefer older guys, we're like 8-9 years apart. My parents are 10 years apart. I think older men are experienced in life and mature. They know how to deal with problems better. I think guys my age are playing around or not sure what they want. I did talk to a guy who was 32 before and I thought that was way too old (I was 20).

Sometimes it's not just about the age but the looks too. He might look younger and she might look older. Of course it doesn't have to be about money or looks if they genuinely get along understand each other very well, more so than any of their past relationships relative to their ages. Love is love.

a typical 20 year old guy is not ready for marriage nor has the resources to provide for it. A 30+ year old may be ready for a family and has resources. Why would a 30+ year old man pick a women his age? that's plain stupid, she has more baggage and will be hard for her to have kids.

Actually science has made it such that people even their forties can have kids women I mean.

Again it circles back to the fact that the main reason the girl or woman is marrying the 30 something year old is not love.

A 24 year old girl who wants a family can marry a 30+ year old guy and have a family in a year, no money problems, has a house paid for, car.

It's because your twenties are about a different stage of your life and 30s are a different stage of your life.

I don't see why anyone would want to date someone that much older. Even celebrities who are older (let's say Ryan Reynolds), I truly believe the same women that admire them would not date them in real life due to the age difference.

I know tons of people with that age gap if we’re talking 20-30 could be a big difference depending on the people but 30-40 nah not at all

Why would marriage be any different?

I have many friends 10-20 years older and am married to someone almost a decade older. It’s because I enjoy these people, same reason I’m friends with people my own age. Most people get less concerned with age as they get older. Of course no two situations are the same so some people are gold diggers if that’s what you want to hear. Regardless you’re completely entitled to associate with whoever you prefer
