Ladies, what is your relationship like with your mirror?

I don't know if this is just because I am a guy or because I was "prudish" and/or insecure growing up.
But I never looked at myself in the mirror.
Either when I was naked getting out of the shower, like I wasn't supposed to look at my penis.
Or just to look myself in eye in general, because I was too creeped out.

How has your relationship changed over the years?

I love looking in the mirror. you could say its an obsession lol. i probably look in the mirror 100 times a day. when i was younger i always took care of my body, worked out, ate right, etc. I still do that now so when i look in the mirror i feel beautiful and strong. I naturally have a bubble butt that im very grateful for and when i was younger i got a boob job because i had small boobs. i think that plastic surgery is a great way to make you feel beautiful about yourself, as long as it is for you, not someone else. A way to help you get over your insecurities is to basically face them head on. accept the fact that your not perfect and there are things that you could do to make them better and then work on them. it will take time and you might want to give up but change doesn't happen all at once, the first step is to mentally accept the fact that you want change and the rest will come with. i hope this helped.

Me and the mirror do not get along... at all :|
I rarely look in the mirror; mostly in passing after I wash my face or do my hair to make sure it's okay. Otherwise? I avoid them. As they tend to depress me, or I find flaws in myself that could be better. I blame growing up as a chubby kid: that gave me low self esteem- hardly any clothes looked good on me.

Nowadays, I just hate mirrors because I rarely look it one and say to myself, "Damn, I look good!"

Nothing much. I don't like my small boobs and my butt is the only thing that I am like is on the bigger side and broad should be men, though they are also thicker in petty areas of women's. I just use a mirror to brush my stupid curly hair. I also have a baby face. I only got a judge about my face and guys saying that I am very attractive. I just think it cures me. I am a woman with a learning disability.

  It is even harder for people with learning disabilities because they like to hide and try to mask that person's term masked. My mum only allows you to date a guy with a learning disability. I also got a lot hate from here I used to be here a long time ago and got cyber bullying here too and also got cyber bullying on Facebook by learning disabilities. I also had a learning disability.

  One of my ex boyfriends that was cheater. is one of his friend of girl tried to force a friendship with me she knew that she broke the trust first place. i kept rejecting her for friendship and still got mad. my cheater ex boyfriend tried to ask me out on Instagram and I rejected. guys always said that I am attractive women.

I look in it to check what an outfit or hairstyle looks like, but I don’t think I particularly spend ages looking in it.. it’s usually a quick once over check to see if everything looks okay. I don’t hate mirrors or avoid them though.

  I usually look at if there are any weird bumps in my hair I need to put a hair pin in, or if there is any big clumps of animal fur on my clothes.. also to check if a bit of mascara has smudged under my eyes

I also didn't used to look at myself in the mirror because I got creeped out but early years, the days I said my acne is too much a mirror reflected that more. A mirror reflects your thoughts on how you see or feel about yourself tenfold.

  I didn't have anything to like or dislike at first, then remarks formulated and in general we don't interview ourselves in front of a mirror the first time- it's usually like a curious kitten that draws closer because there's welcome, a different experience and friendship. And that experience evolves. Befriending oneself since eyes are windows to the soul and you'll look into your own eyes and realize the things overlooked within.

  It varies for people and what their core priorities and beliefs are within or how they identify themselves and their body-image closely or detached. In a spiritual sense, the body is a flesh suit and looking at it is yes looking at yourself as you are but knowing that physique is always changing; with age, with gains or loss, imperfections or flawlessness. Self-worth within reflects your approach about your yourself/body: the temple and vehicle you're in.

For me it's a hate/love relationship to my own reflection. Some days I feel great and I think I look beautiful and other times not so much. On the worst days I hate walking past the mirror because I get disgusted by what I see, but on the best days I'm like fuck yes! I look good today!

It's a tool that i use to see my reflection.
I use it for my skincare routine, dental, hair, and to check my outfits.

I always look at myself in the mirror. If I'm naked or clothed I like my body.
Iike to make sure I don't have any new spots.
I like to make sure I still look hot lol

I'm shocked to hear that you never looked at yourself in the mirror.
I have a love/hate relationship with the mirror. Somedays I love looking at myself, I feel beautiful or sexy. Other days I hate it and I can only see my flaws.

  Always kind of been this way, but looking at age difference that could be it. I grew up practicing selfies for hours in junior high, getting the right pose. Sexting, too... so mirrors helped a lot with that and getting the perfect picture to take in a mirror to send off.
