Guys, what makes you decide whether or not to message a girl upon matching or take a while later or not message her at all?

Let's assume that when you match with them, you're very much open to the idea of going to dates so it has nothing to do with your availability.

Is it based off your interest level in her? Most are aware that the longer the time passes since your initial match and the convo starter, the less likely the match would amount to anything..

So if you were to message her right off the bat and not another chick, safe to say you're very attracted to her? Scarcity rule also applies here: If you find her very attractive, you will know that most men would feel the same way and she has no lack of suitors. You'd then think it's in your best interest to get her attention while you still can, asap.
Yes, it depends on how attracted/interested I am in her
