Have you ever broke up with someone and regretted it?

Ever broke up with someone and wondered what did I just do?!

Or even years down the line? After dating other people.

2 years ago I broke up with my ex boyfriend, and although we were very much in love, I felt things needed to change. I'm not going to act out on my feelings, but has anyone ever gone through something similar? It's took a long time but I do realize he was a great guy

There should be an option "I never rush into a relationship, thus I never quit, thus I've never been the one to break up" >.> literally, I don't break up. I'm no quitter :|

I do hope my ex regrets it -_- would be nice to know I was valued at least somewhat. Oh well.

I will say, girls and guys, if you do regert it, find some way to let them know. Tell them, even if you don't want to be with them anymore, it should help their ego/esteem/confidence. It might confuse them too, so be sure to clarify that you're not interested in being with them (for whatever reason), but tell them they were really truly good boyfriends/girlfriends and you wanted to let them know that you appreciated your time together and wish things could have gone better. Should help them.

I don't want to get back with this guy necessarily, but I do realize now what a great guy he was. I feel bad about the way I ended it. Even though I was young and it was the norm at the time, he deserved more.
