Yea he has details like I’m born in October and love nature. We’ve talked in the Instagram dm’s and he was really friendly (we didn’t flirt). Also he use to check me out in public but that was a while ago. I haven’t seen in person for months now so I don't know.

It's weird that he didn't flirt with you in private messages.
Does he see you as more of a friend?
Obviously he didn't ask you on a date, is he shy?
He checked you out, but doesn't flirt? That's odd.
I wouldn't fuck around reading too much into that picture of trees.

The thing is he always replies to me when I initiate texts but he very rarely initiates texts (only when he has really good excuse). He seems kinda shy/introverted guy.
by the way we barely know each other and we’re not friends.

I have a woman that I have a crush on and she used to text me daily.
Now, we barely talk unless I initiate it and at times she just replies with a ❤ and that's it.
I'm pretty sure it's not going anywhere.
You have to be realistic and try to gauge his interest by how much effort he puts in to contact you.
That is if he knows how you feel about him of course.

I just can't relate to the beating around the bush that you and this guy are doing.

Is he out of your league etc?
There's always a good explanation for people's behaviours, but how can I assess this guy without seeing what his options are and how you fit into that?
