While I understand the sentiment, I don't believe I agree with you. Certainly it can feel from time to time like men get taken for granted. People get used to having us around and it feels like they forget we're people. However, I don't believe anyone is loved unconditionally. In a general sense I would say men that love women love them because they provide emotional support, stability, a sense of an uncertainty, and of course sex. People love children because they seen them potential. Tastiest person capable of becoming almost anything someone Unbound by years of self-doubt and other s***. As well as, in the place of parents, someone who will eventually give back and take care of them and make them happy in their old age. Finally, pets provide happiness. There an entity that is solely focussed on us and is Overjoyed when we come into contact with them. And I think their love is exceptionally conditional. While it may be because of where I was raised, a very small town, most people I know are supposed to putting down animals if they act out your act aggressively if they don't behave in a proper manner. So no, I don't believe that it is just men that is loved unconditionally but rather that that sentiment comes from a place of constantly feeling belittled and unappreciated. While it is important to note this it cannot be the end of the conversation. I think everyone is driving for acceptance in whatever capacity they can find it and men are simply in a comparatively hard spot right now.
