He's communicating and consistently talking to you right? Why does it matter if it's text or IG?

As long as he's talking to you and not ignoring you completely, he's NOT busy!!! He's just talking to you on a platform he prefers. I'd be more concerned if he doesn't message or reply to you at all.

Yeah some people don't check their IG and it's much more convenient thorough texting. I think him responding and reaching out is a good sign...

It’s preferences. But the key is that he’s still communicating with you. Sure we don’t like feeling left hanging in another app, but at least he’s still putting and showing effort now and tomorrow.
