TLDR: Personally no, because the current political and financial environment means that traditional gender roles are no longer effective for survival.

Honestly, with how sky high the prices are for rent, housing and transportation compared to the average salary, having this traditional role of man makes money and woman manages home is may have made sense years ago.

But in our current climate, this is no longer sustainable, meaning that not just the guy, but the girl too must work just to keep the pair afloat. This means that the girl will have less time and resources for cleaning, taking care of kids among other things. This means that the guy will need to assist the woman in doing so.

The point is that due to the less than perfect financial and political climate of many developed countries, women are having to engage in some traditionally masculine activities (bringing home the bacon) and the same goes for men for traditionally feminine activities in order to maintain maximum effectiveness.

I am not sure about it. everything is very expensive guys say that they want traditional women but I am not sure if they can handle it. In past things used to not be expensive but now it is. You need income of two people only rich people can afford to be house wife.

I agree with this. These men are living in the past. Like no water you can pay rent, utilities, food, clothes, health care, cars, school supplies and perhaps leisure activities all on your own. Lol I believe this guys are living in la la land, don't know how to finance, or are actually rich.

I’m not really sure why guys would prefer this... his partner is more likely to be unhappy not having her own passions and interests to pursue. Works gives you purpose, without that what is there?
