Please give your opinion! What could it mean if a teen guy tells a girl that he is single in a Snapchat conversation?

I was talking to this freshman guy (im in 8th grade) on Snapchat when he told me that he was single, and that he recently broke up with his girlfriend. He also kept sending me short videos of him showing off his abs, and told me that he 'has better shirtless pictures'. (He used this emoji🤣 a lot) Could this mean anything that he might like me?

Girl, you already have a red flag. He just broke up with his girlfriend and he JUST moved on and tried to find someone else. You do understand that people who can move on like this from a relationship can also do the exact same but emotionally during a relationship? Meaning, he will definitely change his mind during the relationship and you will get yourself hurt. Second of all, sending ab-pictures may sound exciting and cool and that they like you, but he does not know you at all and if he is sending that to you, imagine how many other girls he is doing that with. Do not be fooled. The only way you survive with boys is with caution, and you have to understand that he would definitely be doing this with more than one person... Even if he isn’t, he still is moving on too fast, which is too fast on its own. I’m in ninth grade, and I will tell you NO boys have ANY sense of maturity, will NOT particularly put a strong effort for commitment, and the boys who easily flirt in the beginning flirt with LOTS of girls, and they’re all trapped in this fantasy that they’re special and the only one. You’re not. Please move on. It’s not because you’re not good enough, but because it’s just the boy in general. Of course it is your decision, but I highly suggest leaving this behind. :(

I do actually know him through mutual friends, and he broke up with his girlfriend about a month ago, I don't know how recent that is.

Girl, I know you just want me to say what you want to hear. I understand that, girl. It is obvious he is interested in you, no doubt. But if he easily flirts with you, there is an extremely good chance he has done this with someone else and possibly even multiple people at a time. I just urge for caution, but it is all up to you because we all have to learn hands-on anyway.

Nah I don't mean to tease. But yes it means he "likes" you a lot. He doesn't know you yet though, so his interest isn't the kind of sweet pure romance you're looking for, at least not yet. He's looking for something a bit dirtier.
